Evangelism is always best when it’s in person, but there are also ways to take traditional methods of evangelism — like Gospel Meetings and lectureships — and move them online.
At the beginning of 2020, we decided to host our first annual Virtual Bible Summit. We asked several preachers from around the country to record a sermon on a specific topic, which was then shown in an all-day lectureship via Facebook and Youtube live.
The response was electric. Nearly 100,000 minutes were viewed in the first 24 hours alone, showing us that people are hungry for the Gospel no matter the format.

With the pandemic in the (mostly) in the rear-view mirror, many churches find themselves in damage-control mode. Some churches have split, others have lost members due to various controversies.
To rebuild our community is to rebuild our fellowship. VBS 2022 will focus on doing that intentionally — how to avoid spectator worship, the power of vulnerability, and the importance taking individual responsibility for our local church.
